Dr. Timothy Porter earned his bachelor’s degree in communication science, and his Clinical Doctorate of Audiology from Western Washington University. He was awarded the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-A) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and is licensed to practice audiology in Washington State.

Tim completed his clinical externship at the Puget sound VA system, having spent time at both the Seattle and American lake campus providing hearing health care to Veterans in all facets of audiology.

Tim has called Washington state his home for the past 16 years and currently resides in the greater Seattle area with his Wife, 2 dogs and cat. Outside of the clinic, he enjoys spending time with friends and family, gaming, trail running, reading and drumming.

His passion in hearing healthcare developed after meeting his now wife who was born Deaf in one ear. While his original plan was to study education and world languages, his pivot to communication sciences came naturally upon discovering the hidden disadvantages of the love of his life. Nothing brings Tim more joy than to experience the joy of his patients once their access to communication is restored.
